Budapest Tourist Guide’s Team

We are Mika and Joshua, and we are the creators of the Budapest Tourist Guide. We’ve known each other from an early age simply because we’re brother and sister, both equally obsessed with discovering new places. Mika is the older sibling and is responsible for the creation of this blog. In fact, she came up with the idea while we were strolling around the beautiful streets of Budapest.

This city has got our hearts, and we’ve been there numerous times. One of the reasons for this is because our parents moved there a few years ago, and we spent more than a month exploring their new home. Needless to say, we fell in love with the capital in no time. In a matter of few weeks, we’ve managed to visit the most prominent destinations and learned so much about the city in general.

When we had to leave the city, we promised our parents we’ll definitely come back soon. Of course, it happened. Two months later, we were back in Budapest, ready to explore more and more until there was no place that’s unknown to us. We expanded our knowledge immensely, and Mika thought it’d be a great idea to create an online website where we can share more about one of the largest cities in Central Europe.

It didn’t take her long to convince me. After all, I’m a writer, and a small travel blog will certainly not be a challenge for me. Mika proofreads every article and often adds additional details she thought about at the spur of the moment. In the end, we come up with engaging and educational posts we believe will be of interest to any travel junkie out there.

Even though our blog is entirely traveling-oriented, we won’t deliver information about places different from Budapest. The reason being is that we’ve spent many months there and we know quite a lot about the city and its most well-known attractions. What’s more, we’re entirely independent, which means that all provided data will be genuine and non-promotional.
